Blue + You + Movies - Zootopia - Saturday, August 13, 2016

UPCOMING MOVIE NIGHT - NEW VENUE: Our next Blue + You Free Movie Night will be on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex (RLTCC)!

In partnership with Culver's, Regal Cinemas, Ringling College of Art and Design, www.Fun4SRQkids.com & Safe Kids Worldwide, we'll be showing 'Zootopia' outside at the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex (RLTCC) beginning at 8:30 p.m.

The community is invited to this free event and are welcome to bring blankets and chairs and invite neighbors, family members and friends to watch 'Zootopia' on the new multi-purpose sports field at the RLTCC. Free snacks and water will be provided.

"Blue + You" is an initiative that honors our community and connects them with the Sarasota Police Department. The "Blue + You" Movie Series began in April 2014.

Blue + Movies + You - Norm of the North - Sunday, May 29, 2016

In partnership with Culver's, the Sarasota Police Department will hold another free “Blue + You” Movie Night on Sunday, May, 29, 2016 at 8 p.m.  There is no school the next day, Monday, May 30, 2016. 

Field access begins at 7 p.m.  The movie ‘Norm of the North' will begin at 8 p.m. on the west end field area of the Sarasota Police Department, 2099 Adams Lane, Sarasota.

The community is invited to this free event and are welcome to bring blankets and chairs, invite neighbors, family members and friends and watch ‘Norm of the North.’ The movie will be projected on the wall of the Sarasota Police Department Headquarters. Snacks and water will be provided.

Other sponsors of 'Norm of the North' include Regal Cinemas, Ringling College of Art and Design and Suncoast Safe Kids Coalition.

Blue + Movies + You - Annie - Saturday, March 12, 2016

In partnership with the Luhrsen Law Group, the Sarasota Police Department will hold another free “Blue + You” Movie Night on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 7 p.m.

Field access begins at 6 p.m. and there will be a special live performance at 6:30 p.m. by the Players Kids from the Players Theatre who will perform songs from their upcoming performance of Annie Jr.  The movie ‘Annie’ will begin at 7 p.m. on the west end field area of the Sarasota Police Department, 2099 Adams Lane, Sarasota.

The community is invited to this free event and are welcome to bring blankets and chairs, invite neighbors, family members and friends and watch ‘Annie.’  The movie will be projected on the wall of the Sarasota Police Department Headquarters.  Snacks and water will be provided.

Blue + Movies + You - The Polar Express - Sunday, December 27, 2015

Details are still in the works but join us for our next free community Blue + You Movie Night on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Sarasota Police Department Headquarters, 2099 Adams Lane, Sarasota.

The west field will open at 6 p.m. and 'The Polar Express' will begin at 7 p.m.

Bring a blanket and chairs and enjoy the movie as we project it on the side of the Sarasota Police Department building!

Blue + Movies + You - Cars 2 - Saturday, September 19, 2015

The Sarasota Police Department will be holding another Free “Blue + You” Movie Night on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at on the west end grass area of the Sarasota Police Department, 2099 Adams Lane, Sarasota. Our sponsor is Luhrsen Law Group!

The field opens at 7pm and Cars 2 begins at 8pm! The Sarasota County Fire Department will be stopping by from 7pm until 8pm with a fire truck.

The community is welcome to bring blankets and chairs, invite neighbors and family members and watch Disney Pixar’s ‘Cars 2.’ The movie will be projected on the wall of the Sarasota Police Department.
