Detectives attempting to identify man who used stolen credit cards in Sarasota

 

SARASOTA, Fla. – Nov. 7, 2014 – 9:30 a.m.

Detectives with the Sarasota Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man who used a stolen credit card twice in Sarasota.

The victim contacted the Sarasota Police Department to report two fraudulent transactions using their credit card information. The first transaction occurred at Publix at 1044 N. Tamiami Trial in Sarasota on October 29, 2014 at approximately 9:30 a.m. The second transaction occurred at Publix at 2031 Bay Street in Sarasota on October 29, 2014 at approximately 10 a.m.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20’s or 30’s with medium build, dark hair cut short on the sides and longer on top like a Mohawk. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and knee length gray shorts. The suspect can be seen on video at http://youtu.be/hnchxcfxjiQ
