Undercover operation targeting prostitution results in three men arrested

SARASOTA, Fla. – September 12, 2014 – 8 a.m.

On Thursday, September 11, 2014, the Sarasota Police Department Street Crimes Unit, in conjunction with the Narcotics Unit, conducted a prostitution operation targeting individuals soliciting prostitutes; “Johns.”  The operation was conducted in the 4200 block of N. Tamiami Trail. 

Three individuals were arrested for Solicitation for Prostitution.  One of the three men was additionally charged with Possession of Crack Cocaine and Possession of Paraphernalia.
