Detectives Attempt to Identify Individuals Caught on Camera Attempting to Break Into Sarasota Business

SARASOTA, Fla. – Jan. 7, 2015 – 10 a.m.

Detectives with the Sarasota Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying several individuals who attempted to gain entry to the Bullet Hole, 330 S. Orange Avenue, in Sarasota on December 23, 2014 and December 25, 2014 after 7 p.m. Video can be viewed at

When officers responded to the Bullet Hole on December 23, 2014, the north side of the business had a center window almost broken out. The windows were hit several times leaving glass both on the outside and the inside of the business. The amount of damage is estimated to be approximately $1,000.

When officers responded to the Bullet Hole on December 25, 2014, a side window, adjacent to the window from December 23, had been broken. The glass was completely spider-ed but still intact. Another window close by had also been tampered with.

The suspects are believed to have been in the store earlier in the day, on December 23, 2014, at approximately 3:30 p.m. The owners told officers they asked the juveniles to leave because they were not accompanied by an adult.

Suspect 1) Unknown male, last seen riding a dark bike, wearing a hoodie and shorts Suspect 2) White male, last seen wearing a backpack, shirt or dark colored cloth on his head/face, dark shoes with white soles, possibly shirtless and carrying what appears to be a piece of concrete Suspect 3) Black male, last seen wearing a white mask (removes it on video), dark t-shirt, black shorts and white and dark high top sneakers, carrying a backpack with designs on the straps. Suspect 4) White male, last seen wearing black pants, long sleeve dark shirt, black bandana and beanie and black shoes.
