Sarasota Police Attempting to Identify Burglary Suspect Caught on Camera

 

SARASOTA, Fla. – April 21, 2015 – 10 a.m.

Detectives with the Sarasota Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying a burglary suspect who was caught on camera breaking into the maintenance area at Sunset Chevy, 1800 Bay Road, Sarasota on April 17, 2015 at approximately 10 p.m.

The suspect is described as a white male, between the ages of 20 and 30, last seen wearing a light colored baseball hat, dark colored shirt with a logo on the front, jeans, some type of work boots and black rubber gloves. The suspect also has a thin beard lining his face.

On the video, the suspect is seen walking into the maintenance area, opening cabinets and drawers over the course of several minutes before leaving the area. Video of the suspect can be viewed at http://youtu.be/fp5D0eKfhiw
