Detectives with the Sarasota Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman who burglarized a home in the 200 block of South Shade Avenue in Sarasota on May 21, 2015.

At approximately 1:30 p.m. on May 21, 2015, the woman removed a box of paintball equipment and various communication cables from the carport of 222 South Shade Avenue.  The homeowner discovered the suspect rode up into the driveway on a bicycle, walked up onto the front porch, knocked on the door and when no one answered, she left.  Later that evening, at approximately 10 p.m., the same female returned and removed a box of paintball equipment.

The suspect is described as a white female, in her late 40’s or early 50’s.  In the video, she appears to be short with a thin build.  She has long dark brown or black hair and was last seen wearing a white shirt with multicolor floral print, denim shorts and flip flops.
