Sarasota Police Attempt to Identify Individuals in Fraudulent Use of Debit Card Case


SARASOTA, Fla. – July 31, 2015 – 12 p.m.

Sarasota Police Officers are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying three individuals, all males, who were seen on camera using a stolen debit card at the 7-11, located at 1150 North Tuttle Avenue, Sarasota, on Wednesday, July 16, 2015. The suspects made several charges totaling $365.

The victim, who lives in Jupiter, Florida reported the unknown charges to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office on July 24, 2015. The victim said there were several charges on his debit card in Hialeah, Florida at Macy’s and Exxon Mobil in addition to the charges made in Sarasota. The total charges from both Sarasota and Hialeah total $576. The victim believes his information was stolen at a gas station in Stuart, Florida.

In the video, two of the males walk in and the third male walks in a short time later. Several minutes later, all three males leave together.

Descriptions: Suspect 1: Male, 5’6" to 5’8", late 20’s to early 30’s, stocky build, facial hair, dark short, cropped hair. He was last seen wearing a red baseball cap, white sleeveless tank top with a banner printing on the shirt from his right shoulder to left hip that reads ‘Billionaire Boys Club,’ khaki knee-length shorts, black shoes and has a large tribal tattoo on his upper right arm.

Suspect 2: Male, late 20’s to early 30’s, 5’6" to 5’8", medium build. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with an upside down triangle with a dark strip through the center, possibly a guess Jeans t-shirt, dark blue/black over the knee shorts with an orange strip down both sides and dark sneakers.

Suspect 3: Male, early 20’s, medium build, 5’6" to 5’8". He was last seen wearing black cargo shorts, an orange t-shirt and black sneakers.
