SARASOTA, Fla. – July 9, 2015 – 9 a.m.

Detectives with the Sarasota Police Department have arrested Jon Gluvna, 34, of 3836 Calliandra Drive, Sarasota, and have charged him with twenty (20) counts of transmission of child pornography by an electronic device.

In May 2015, FBI Task Force Agents learned Gluvna’s computer was a potential download source for child pornography files.  Gluvna’s IP address was observed online conducting keyword searches related to child pornography material.

Sarasota Police Detectives put files found on Gluvna’s computer through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) database.  The NCMEC database identified more than 200 images and videos.  46 of the images/video submitted were actual identified children/victims through NCMEC.

Gluvna has bonded out of the Sarasota County Jail.
