Sarasota Police taking social media followers on another ‘Tweet from the Beat’

SARASOTA, FL. – October 30, 2017   – 2:30 p.m.

The Sarasota Police Department is taking social media followers on another “virtual ride-along.”  Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 31, 2017, beginning at 7 a.m., Twitter users can “ride along” for another ‘Tweet from the Beat’ with Patrol Officers during day shift.  This is a special Halloween ride-along that Sarasota Police Officers will join other law enforcement agencies from around the country using the hashtag #TweetsOnPatrol

Patrol Officer Isven Chavez will share what he says and does through texts, videos, GIFs and various photos.  Partnership Policing Communications Coordinator Genevieve Judge will tweet on behalf of Officer Chavez.  Followers on Twitter @SarasotaPD will be able to ask questions and interact with the Sarasota Police Department while they are on patrol.
