Sarasota Police to host National Night Out 2017 on October 3, 2017

SARASOTA, FL. – September 25, 2017   – 11:30 a.m.

On Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., the Sarasota Police Department will host National Night Out 2017, ‘America’s Night Out Against Crime,’ outside Sarasota Police Headquarters, 2099 Adams Lane, Sarasota.  This free family event is open to everyone and residents throughout Sarasota are invited to spend time with their neighbors and police officers.

There will be K-9 and bomb squad robot demonstrations, displays of emergency vehicles, face painting, bounce houses, a junior SWAT challenge, displays by Mote Marine Aquarium, Selah Freedom, Crimestoppers, Teen Court, SPARCC, Peace River K-9 Search and Rescue Association, Sarasota County Fire Department, Florida Highway Patrol, food, beverages, a special dessert table from area neighborhoods and much more for children and families.
