Sarasota Police Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying two burglary suspects who stole between $50,000 and $100,000 worth of jewelry and unique coins from Estate Coin and Jewelry Galleria located at 1650 Main Street, Sarasota.

On Thursday, March 29, 2018 at approximately 1:30 a.m., Sarasota Police Officers were dispatched to 1650 Main Street reference to a burglary.  Officers arrived on scene and found the rear door forced open.  Video of the burglary shows two individuals coming into the store in hooded sweatshirts and in about 60 seconds they can been seen smashing the glass of the jewelry cabinets with a crowbar and stealing jewelry and coins.

Employees at a neighboring store told Detectives that earlier in the day a couple came into the store asking questions that seemed out of the ordinary.  The female seen entering the neighboring store has a similar long braid as the one during the time of the burglary.
