Five men arrested during undercover operation targeting prostitution

SARASOTA, FL  – July 2, 2018   – 1:30 p.m.

On Thursday, June 28, 2018, the Sarasota Police Department Street Crimes Unit, with the assistance of the Narcotics Unit and Patrol Division, conducted a prostitution operation targeting individuals soliciting prostitutes.  The operation was conducted along North Tamiami Trail corridor in the City of Sarasota.

Five (5) men were arrested and charged with Solicitation of Prostitution.  Three vehicles were seized under City Code 33-271.
