Sarasota PD will host its annual Done with the Gun firearm turn-in event on Saturday, July 11, 2026, providing community members with a safe and anonymous way to dispose of unwanted firearms. Gun locks will be available while supplies last.

Junior Citizens Academy - July 20-23

The Sarasota Police Department is hosting a Junior Citizens Academy this summer for students ages 13 to 18. This free, interactive program offers participants a unique behind-the-scenes look at law enforcement.
