SARASOTA - On Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, Sarasota Police Chief Rex Troche held a swearing-in ceremony for five new Police Officers.  The ceremony was held at the Sarasota Police Department.

The following officers join the Sarasota Police Department as 2^nd Class Probation:

• Savannah Gray
• Gabriel Ornellas Victorio
• Tristan Sarney
• Emilio Suriel
• Gabrielle Theofanous
