K.O.P.S. brings kids and officers together for an evening of fun, friendship and community

SARASOTA, FL - Local youth are invited to join Sarasota Police officers for an exciting evening of games, food, laughter and connection at K.O.P.S. (Kids and Officers Promoting Solidarity) on Tuesday, June 16, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex.

Designed for youth ages 8-15, K.O.P.S. is a free community event that creates opportunities for youth and law enforcement officers to interact in a positive, relaxed environment. Through fun activities and shared experiences, participants will build friendships, strengthen trust and promote greater understanding throughout the community.

Attendees can look forward to:

  • Interactive games and activities.
  • Opportunities to meet and talk with Sarasota Police officers.
  • Team-building fun and community engagement.
  • A welcoming environment focused on friendship and respect.
  • Free dinner for all participants.

Sarasota, Florida
There is no cost to attend, and all youth ages 8-15 are encouraged to participate.
