Sarasota Police Department to host Junior Citizens Academy July 20-23

SARASOTA, FL - Are you looking for an exciting summer opportunity for a teen in your life? The Sarasota Police Department is hosting a Junior Citizens Academy this summer for students ages 13 to 18.  This free, interactive program offers participants a unique behind-the-scenes look at law enforcement, giving them the opportunity to learn about police operations, meet police officers and gain a better understanding of how Sarasota PD serves our community.


Details:

  • July 20 through July 23.
  • 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day at Sarasota PD, 2099 Adams Lane, Sarasota.
  • Free for all participants.
  • Register here.
